Prince Michael Jackson job: Michael's child once hidden, now in the spotlight

Prince Michael Jackson has a job. The 16-year-old eldest child of legendary pop singer Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe landed a job with Entertainment Tonight as a special correspondent, reported by USA Today on Feb. 19, 2013. "I've been raised around stuff like this so it was different being the interviewer instead of the one being interviewed," said Prince Michael. "I'm looking to become well-rounded as a producer, director, screenwriter and actor."

Since the death of his father in 2009 at the age of 50, the public has become familiar with Prince Michael. When the pop star was alive, he was known to hide his children's faces with masks. Said Paris Jackson, Prince Michael's sister, "I'm like, 'This is stupid, why am I wearing a mask?' But I kind of realized the older I got, he only tried to protect us and he'd explain that to us too."

Is it unusual for someone as young as Prince Michael to have such a prestigious, high-profile celebrity job? Perhaps not if the person is a mature teenager. When Prince Michael was asked why he's so mature, he responded, "That's what most of my people say. That was all thanks to my dad. He raised me right."
