Prince Michael Jackson an Entertainment Tonight special correspondent

Brooke Anderson from Entertainment Tonight mentored the late Michael Jackson’s son Prince Michael I as the 16-year-old interviewed James Franco, Zach Braff and director Sam Raimi for the new film “Oz the Great and Powerful,” PEOPLE reported on Feb. 19. The interviews conducted by Jackson, a special correspondent for ET, will air this week on Entertainment Tonight.

Brooke Anderson told PEOPLE that she and Prince Michael have a “special connection” and that she has been “working to do something” with the late King of Pop’s oldest son for “a while.”

Anderson said:

“I thought interviewing the cast of ‘Oz the Great and Powerful’ would be the perfect opportunity, because he’s a fan of ‘Wizard of Oz,’ his dad was in ‘The Wiz’ and he wants to get into direction, producing and acting one day.”

Entertainment Tonight anchor Brooke Anderson said that Prince Michael showed her “big time” what it takes to be a reporter. Anderson told PEOPLE that she just gave Prince Michael Jackson some pointers and that he did not need too much guidance, stating that Prince Michael is “a natural.”

Prince Michael Jackson is the eldest son of the late Michael Jackson, who died on June 25, 2009. Prince Michael’s siblings include Paris and Prince Michael II, also known as Blanket.
