Prince William and Prince Harry took on the role of professional traders today (Wednesday) taking calls during BGC Partners's annual September 11 charity day. Despite the somber anniversary, Clarence House reveals the two shared a laugh when Prince Harry egged his brother on by telling him to "Stop flirting...and get on with it" while talking to a female caller.
The younger prince also drew laughs when he called his brother out for being one of those parents who can't stop talking about his kids. "He’s on the phone, it’s all baby chat," Harry joked. "I'm much better at helicopter chat."
Meantime, Prince Harry wasn't just busting his brother's chops - there was some truth to the new dad's baby talk. During one phone conversation, William revealed things with Prince George are improving -- especially when it comes to sleeping. “He’s very well, thanks. He’s sleeping quite well,” the first time dad revealed. The Duke of Cambridge's admission comes just weeks after he said his now seven week old son wasn't sleeping to well at night. The 31 year old, who just retired from the RAF this week, spent another call trying to convince the person on the other end of the line he was indeed Prince William, finally conceding, "It's all a wind-up, I'm Gary."
BGC Partners holds the charity event annually on September 11 to remember the 658 BGC employees who were killed in the World Trade Center attacks twelve years ago. Now in its ninth year BGC Charity Day has so far raised more than $89 million.
