Prince Harry is returning to the UK not only as the world's most eligible bachelor, but also as a soon-to-be uncle. On his trip home from Afghanistan today (Tuesday), the 28 year-old couldn't help but share his excitement over becoming a first time uncle. "Obviously I'm thrilled for both of them," People magazine quotes Harry as saying "It's about time," he joked.
Prince Harry says for as excited as he is to welcome the royal baby, he's equally worried about Kim Middleton's privacy. "I think it's very unfair that they were forced to publicize it when they were, but that's just the media for you," Harry said referring to the pre-mature pregnancy confirmation which came after the Duchess of Cambridge was hospitalized.

Both Prince Harry and his brother, Prince William, clearly value their privacy -- much of it likely stemming from how their mother, Princess Diana, lived and died. The press hounded their late mother until the moment of her untimely death, when she was killed in a car accident while being chased by French paparazzi. It's something that's made William and Harry fiercely protective -- especially now that Kate is pregnant. "I just only hope that she and him – but mainly Catherine – hopefully that she gets the necessary protection to allow her as a mother-to-be to enjoy the privacy that that comes with. I seriously hope that's going to be able to happen," Harry stressed.
When the royal baby is born in July, Prince Harry will be bumped to fourth-in-line for the throne. He's also likely to be called on as the child's godfather.
