When Prince Harry kills Taliban insurgents, it's international news. the British Prince has acknowledged that he has killed Taliban insurgents in Afghanistan. On Jan. 21, CNN reported that Harry didn't go in to detail about how many people he may have killed but he is doing his part as a crew member on an Apache attack helicopter.
"Our job out here is to make sure the guys are safe on the ground and if that means shooting someone who is shooting at them, then we will do it. It's not the reason I decided to do this job. The reason to do this job was to get back out here, and carry on with a job," Harry explained.
It's no surprise to hear Prince Harry kills Taliban insurgents -- that is what he enlisted in the army to do. He justifies the attacks, saying that he's protecting the other people who are fighting the good fight. "[We] take a life to save a life. That's what we revolve around, I suppose," he said.
Naturally people should not be surprised that Prince Harry is killing terrorists in Afghanistan. However, the more important piece of news is that things are getting done and that some of the tactics put in place are working. Harry is doing what he is supposed to be doing as a part of the army.
Prince Harry killing Taliban insurgents in Afghanistan is a far cry from the young, mischievous boy that people used to refer to him as.
