Move over Mr. Salt-and-Pepper, a ginger has been named the world's most eligible bachelor. Prince Harry, 28 has topped a list of 40 bachelors -- the world over. The third-in-line to the throne's reign, as the most eligible bachelor, means he beats out Hollywood's leading man, George Clooney, according to a new poll out today (Tuesday) by Town & Country magazine.
Prince Harry is currently serving his second tour of duty in Afghanistan. The Apache helicopter pilot is due to return home to the UK this month. Justifying his win as the most eligible bachelor, magazine editors write: "Prince William's baby brother flirts and flies Apache helicopters with equal aplomb. He loves dressing up - in everything from ill-fated fancy dress to his birthday suit."
Will Kate Middleton's baby bump make debut at Prince Harry's homecoming?
Prince Harry has had a string of well-publicized relationships. His most famous, of course, is with Chelsey Davy. The couple split in 2011 and he hasn't had a serious relationship since. Prior to leaving for the war zone, the 28-year-old was reportedly dating Cressida Bonas; that is, until she broke up with him after his Las Vegas nude photo scandal.
Other eligible bachelors to make the 2013 list include Jack Nicholson, Tim Tebow, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Conor Kennedy, and NBA star Jeremy Lin.
