Prince Frederik and Princess Mary visit new royal baby

TH Prince Nikolai, Prince Felix, and Prince Henrik paid a visit to Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen to see their new baby sister on Wednesday.  Also paying a visit to the baby and her mother, HRH Princess Marie, were TRH Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary and HM Queen Margrethe and HRH the Prince Consort.  Everyone was beaming as they came and went, reporting that both baby and mom are feeling good and are looking healthy.  The name of the new Princess will not be revealed until the christening ceremony, as is royal tradition.  However, it is a safe bet that “Margrethe” will be in the mix.  Prince Joachim and his brother Prince Frederik now both have four children each, Frederik having a set of twins.  Prince Joachim must be especially happy as last year he admitted “with three boys already, I would like a little girl.”  The new baby is his second child with Princess Marie, his two older sons Nikolai and Felix are the Prince’s sons from his previous marriage to Alexandra, Countess of Frederiksborg.
