TRH the Prince and Princess of Asturias joined today in the commemorating in the 75th anniversary of the Radio Nacional de España in Madrid. The exhibition visited by the Prince and Princess will travel to more than 50 cities in Spain to show the country the inter-workings and history of the technology. Visitors will be able to customize their experience, complete with the opportunity to record their own news. Their Royal Highnesses were joined by the President of the Congress of Deputies, the Secretary of State for Communication, the Arts Officer of the Municipality of Madrid, and the director of RNE. They were given a guided tour through the exhibit, but passed on the opportunity to record anything themselves. The RNE has covered every major event in Spain for the last 75 years and the exhibit has them all on display for the listener. As the Prince and Princess were given a guided tour they clearly enjoyed the walk back in time given by their tour guides. After their visit, the future King and Queen worked the line and met with members of the public who had gathered to catch a glimpse of the couple.
