Prince Charles is feeling old: Grandpa-to-be no longer a young Prince Charles

Prince Charles is feeling old at the thought of becoming a grandfather, reported Us Weekly on March 11. When asked if becoming a grandfather for the first time makes him feel old, the 64-year-old Prince of Wales said, "Of course it does, because you can't believe, to a certain extent, that it's going to happen in your life. . . It's a lovely thought, and I look forward enormously to that relationship with a grandchild."

Kate Middleton, 31, is approximately five months pregnant and is due to give birth in July. Rumor has it that the royal mother-to-be and Prince William, Charles' oldest son with the late Princess Diana, will be having a girl since Kate may have spilled the beans earlier this month.

Prince Charles is feeling old, but he's almost 65. It's not unusual to start feeling old as one enters the golden years. He's no longer the young man who was in the headlines when he and Princess Diana got married in the 80s.
