Prince Albert and Charlene Wittstock take in Monte Carlo Masters

HSH Prince Albert II and his fiancée Charlene Wittstock were on hand at the ATP Monte Carlo Rolex Masters tennis final this weekend.  Sitting with the couple at the match were Melanie de Lusignan and Cristiana Crociani.  The latter is the sister of Grimaldi family friend HRH Princess Camilla of Bourbon-Two Sicilies.  Also on-hand in her role as President of the Monegasque Tennis Federation and the Monte Carlo Country Club was the late Princess Antoinette’s daughter Elizabeth-Anne de Massy. The couple looked relaxed and seemed to genuinely enjoy the match.  At the end they both enthusiastically cheered (Prince Albert more so) the tournament winner, for the seventh year in a row, Rafael Nadal.  The match is played on clay, and Nadal is far and away the best clay court tennis player in the world.  In fact last year, he became the first man in the Open era to win a tournament six straight times.  After the end of the tournament, the Sovereign Prince awarded the winner’s trophy.
