For Monday, February 13th 2012 LA TV Insider Examiner recommends:
The Voice (NBC, 8pm) – “Blind Auditions, Part 3” – Who will make the cut on Team Cee Lo, Team Christina, Team Adam, and Team Blake tonight??
Hart of Dixie (The CW, 9pm) – “Aliens & Aliases” – Wade (Wilson Bethel) somehow convinces Lemon (Jaime King) to dress up as Joelle (guest star Courtney Parks) as part of a scheme to convince Joelle’s ex-boyfriend (guest star Ted Welch) that he didn’t actually see Wade and Joelle together. Lavon (Cress Williams) asks Zoe (Rachel Bilson) to help him figure out why Didi (guest star Nadine Velazquez) has been avoiding him, but once Zoe uncovers the shocking reason she isn’t quite sure what to do with the information. George (Scott Porter) comes to Zoe for advice in determining whether there is a medical explanation for the behavior of one of his clients.
The Lying Game (ABC Family, 9pm) – “No Country for Young Love” – Ethan (Blair Redford) is still a wanted man in hiding with Sutton (Alexandra Chando), leaving Emma (Chando) to worry if justice-- and love-- will prevail. Discouraged by Dan (Tyler Christopher)'s inability to crack the case, Emma takes it upon herself to find a way to vindicate Ethan. With the help of Mads (Alice Greczyn) and Thayer (Christian Alexander), they search for any lead that may help prove Ethan's innocence. Meanwhile, Ethan and Sutton's time alone in hiding together has lowered Ethan's guard. Sutton uses the opportunity to encourage Ethan to bond with his estranged father, looking to heal her relationship with him at the same time. And Alec (Adrian Pasdar) questions Rebecca (Charisma Carpenter)'s motives after she agitates Ted (Andy Buckley) and Kristin (Helen Slater) by offering Laurel (Allie Gonino) the opportunity to produce a music demo.
Castle (ABC, 10pm) – "Pandora" – In the first episode of a two-part event, Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) pursue a ruthless killer who, they discover, is part of a sinister, international conspiracy. Castle and Beckett are joined on the case by Sophia Conrad (guest star Jennifer Beals), a smart, sexy CIA operative who has a complicated past with Castle.
Smash (NBC, 10pm) – “The Callback” – Ivy (Megan Hilty) and Karen (Katharine McPhee) jump through hoops for the brilliant but temperamental director Derek Wills (Jack Davenport) as they pursue the role of a lifetime. Meanwhile, Julia (Debra Messing) and her husband Frank (Brian d’Arcy James), are frustrated by the red tape of an international adoption process, and Eileen (Anjelica Huston) fights to finance her new musical in the midst of an acrimonious divorce.
