For Sunday, February 12th 2012 LA TV Insider Examiner recommends:
The 54th Annual Grammy Awards (CBS, 8pm) – LL Cool J hosts the live music award show from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Coldplay, Rihanna, Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Kelly Clarkson, Jason Aldean, Bruno Mars, and the Foo Fighters perform. Expect an eleventh hour tribute to Whitney Houston, as well.
Once Upon A Time (ABC, 8pm) – "Skin Deep" – After Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle)'s house is robbed, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) keeps a close eye on him when it looks like he wants to track down the criminal and dole out some vigilante justice as payback, and Valentine's Day finds Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin), Ruby (Meghan Ory), and Ashley (Jessy Schram) having a girls' night out. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, Belle (Emilie de Ravin) agrees to a fateful deal to give up her freedom in order to save her town from the horrors of the Ogre war.
Shameless (SHO, 9pm) – “Can I Have a Mother” – Debbie (Emma Kenney)’s day care takes a wild turn, while Steve (Justin Chatwin) invites Fiona (Emmy Rossum) on a double date, and Frank (William H. Macy) learns who actually inherited Eddie’s insurance policy.
House of Lies (SHO, 10pm) – “Our Descent into Los Angeles” – Roscoe (Donis Leonard Jr.) gets slapped with sexual harassment charges for kissing another boy, and Marty (Don Cheadle) rushes to his aid, taking on the school. Meanwhile, Jeannie (Kristen Bell) has second thoughts about her engagement. Oh yeah, and Marty’s NY stripper (Megalyn Echikunwoke) fling makes a surprise return visit.
Californication (SHO, 10:30pm) – “Love Song” – Sam (RZA)’s case of writer’s block has him calling on Hank (David Duchovny) to work with Kali (Meagan Good) on a new track. Prepare for a trip down memory lane as Hank remembers his early days in Los Angeles with Karen (Natasha McElhone).
