Cleveland ,OH - The world famous Cleveland Agora hosted yet again one of the true powerhouse of the metal community when they booked Primal Fear to play .The German power metal band formed in 1997 and have been stunning and delighting audiences ever since . The band is currently in support of their 2014 release “ Delivering The Black “ with a full world tour that will stop in almost every continent . A Sunday show is always a hard sell however Cleveland loves its metal and the fans came out . The band hit hard and heavy with the first song being “ Final Embrace “ from their 1999 album “ Jaws of Death “ and the hits and history kept coming with both old and new and included “Alive and on Fire “ and “ Delivering The Black “ . Up next came “Nuclear Fire” and “Seven Seals “ The intricate and quick guitar work of guitarists Alex Beyrodt and Tom Naumann really showed the power , beauty and harmony of two guitars working to compliment each other . Soon came the powerful “ One Night In December “ and “ Angel In Black “ I few minutes break and the band burst into “ When Death Comes Knocking “ and the epic “ Chain Breaker “ . Singer Ralf Scheepers voice is strong and powerful and at times will remind you of Rob Halfold of Judas Priest fame . The backline is supported in place by the very talented drummer extraordinaire Randy Black and bring the low-end on bass guitar is Mat Sinner .The band continued the musical onslaught with “ Fighting The Darkness “ and “ Bad Guys Wear Black “ and rounding out the final songs of the night were “ Metal is Forever “ ( a crowd favorite ) and “ King for a Day “ The band still has a whole tour in front of them so check their official website at http://www.primalfear.de/home/ to see if they are coming to your town . A special note has to go to opening acts Artic Flame ,Demonwulf, Wretch and Scum Park Hooligans for doing a fine job and warming up the crowd .
