Jackson County Community Theatre will open the season with The Dixie Swim Club, focusing on a group of long-time friends to handle life's challenges, including men, parenting, divorce, aging, and more. This production will take place Sept. 5-13.
A Charlie Brown Christmas will follow in December. Based on the TV show, the Peanuts characters head to the stage to find the true meaning of Christmas. This production will happen Dec. 5-13.
Entering the new year is the dinner theater production of The Drowsy Chaperone, which pays homage to Jazz Age-era shows and the power of them to send audiences on a journey to good times. Chaperone goes on Feb. 13-21.
Closing the 2014-15 theater season is the thriller Deathtrap, dealing with a down-on-his-luck writer, his student, a play the student wrote, and the plot to kill the student. Deathtrap runs April 24-May 2.
