Prospectors Allen Haff and Ton Jones are hitting the road in the newest season of Spike TV’s Auction Hunters, which begins April 5th, 2011.
They’ll be checking out storage auctions across the country and, as this video shows, having bigger pay days than ever before. If they’re making money, that means they’re finding some pretty cool things, from a 1970s NASA countdown clock to a 1960s relay rocket among other amazing antiques and collectibles.
Compared to last season, where they stuck to local auctions in California, in season two, they’re travelling all over the place, including Texas, Florida, Boston, and, of course, Chicago. Even with new environments and bidding against different people, it’s just as cut-throat as before.
So what will they find in Chicago? Host Allen hinted that he may have found something belonging to a politician.
But viewers won’t be able to discover what that find is until later in the 20-episode season.
In the two-episode season two premiere, Allen and Ton compete for storage unit treasure in Miami. The all-new episodes start airing on Tuesday, April 5th at 9P.M. Central.
