"The Walking Dead" returns from its mid-season hiatus this Sunday, and it's about time. Fans in withdrawal can watch a preview of the upcoming ninth episode, "The Suicide King" right here.
When we last saw our intrepid survivors, they'd seen better days. While they managed to save Glenn and Maggie from the Governor's clutches, the rescue mission ended in Oscar's death and Daryl's capture. Now Daryl and his brother Merle will have to fight to the death to satisfy the Governor's sadistic whims, and Rick and the rescue party have to find a way to save him in time.
Meanwhile back at the prison, a new group of four survivors has joined the party, though it's not clear yet whether or not they can be trusted.
In the preview, it looks like Rick and Michonne have learned to trust each other, while Andrea is becoming more suspicious of the Governor. There's plenty of blood, guts, and violence, which means it's business as usual when "The Walking Dead" returns this Sunday night.
We are the walking dead: "The Walking Dead" is currently in its mid-season break. It will return this February 10th in its usual Sunday night time slot at 9 p.m. for more zombie mayhem and madness.
