The Jewish festival is the largest in Colorado and one of the most popular in the country. The annual event features live musical performances and entertainers, fine art and Judaica, ethnic food, and a wide array of exhibitors representing community groups and other booths of interest.
This year, Radio Chavura will be teaming with the Boulder Jewish News to introduce visitors to both community information forums. Radio Chavura and Boulder Jewish News provide free access to their content, reaching and engaging Jews throughout Colorado.
Other community groups scheduled to host booths include: Anti-Defamation League, Boulder JCC, Hadassah, Hazon, JEWISHcolorado, Jewish Family Service, Keshet, Limmud Colorado, MazelTot, and Rocky Mountain Hai.
Among the artists and Judaica planning to participate are: Blue Jasmine Studios, Kova Caps, Mudworks and Talitot, Fine Dezine, Jems by Jill, and Ann Lederer Silk.
Also exhibiting – all the way from Decatur, Georgia – will be Foodman, LLC, a specialty kosher food products maker. Foodman is best known for its Matzolah line of wholesome, delicious and nutritious granola that is Parve and certified KOF-K.
Wayne Silverman, president of Foodman, joins Radio Chavura this week ahead of the Boulder Jewish Festival to talk about his kosher food products and why they are so popular – not just at Passover, but all year round. You can hear the Boulder Jewish Festival preview here.
On the main stage this year, beginning at 11 am, will be Cowboy Hersh. Other performers include Sherefe, Mikey Pauker, Boulder Klezmer Consort, Offlines with Yinon Muallem, and Or Zimrah.
