Preview of 'America's Next Top Model' Cycle 13

America's Next Top Model Cycle 13 will air on September 9, at 8:00 pm ET/PT on The CW. We meet the 32 semi-finalists as they try to impress Tyra at the Los Angeles Biltmore Hotel. This season, all the girls are 5'7" and under, and one of them will become the first America's Next Top Petite Model.

There is a girl who teaches runway modeling, a girl that is a math major, a girl that says God wants her to be the next top model to help people, a girl who castrates cows, and another that castrates sheep. There's a girl who is proud to be gay, and a girl that had the nickname "bloody eyeball," and has a thing about eyeballs. We have some girls that have suffered abuse, including one that was abducted and raped, and one that was physically abused by her mother, sent to foster care, and eventually adopted. There is even a girl who comes to the casting on crutches. Which of these girls will make it to the Top 14? You'll have to wait and watch Wednesday night to find out.

The first hour of the two-hour premiere is focused on model selection, and backstories of the girls. In the second hour, we see the Top 14 get "Ty-overs." What's a "Ty-over?" It's a Tyra makeover. As usual, you can expect some meltdowns, but they don't have time to be upset for long, as they have to prepare for their first photo shoot. One girl is eliminated... you know the drill, but there is plenty of drama along the way.

This Cycle looks to be the best yet, as these girls prove they're just as capable and fierce as the tall models. Watch the 2-hour premiere on The CW on September 9, 2009, starting at 8:00 pm ET/PT.
