Preview: HoneyHoney to play Stubbs September 25

Los Angeles folk duo, HoneyHoney are slated to set out on tour this fall in support of their new album, Billy Jack, to be released October 24. Suzanne Santos and Ben Jaffe will set out on a co-headlining tour with sing-songwriter, Joshua James beginning September 21in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and making a stop at Stubbs BBQ (indoor) Sunday, September 25.

Billy Jack was produced (primarily) by Raymond Richards (Local Natives) and will be released on the Lost Highway Records label by way of Fontana Distribution October 24 with the lead single being Turn That Finger Around. To support the new full length album, HoneyHoney will be setting out on the “Ten Buck Tour” playing forty-one dates across the U.S., with tickets costing $10 or less.

HoneyHoney duo Suzanne Santos and Ben Jaffe found chemistry in each other after Santos had put her vocals on some of Jaffe’s songs he had written for the band he was with at the time. The newly formed musical relationship led the duo to enter a radio contest and win $25,000 to make an album. From that came an old fan favorite titled, Little Toy Gun. Having toured with names such as Lifehouse, Matt Nathanson, and Christina Perri, HoneyHoney has won the hearts of many since their start, and will continue to do so with the release of Billy Jack and co-headlining tour with Joshua James.
