Friday, 1/07/2011 - Today on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” (check local listings for time and channel) Camille Grammer will be Ellen’s guest and the show has released a preview -- see video posted to the left of this article.
Why in the world would Camille do this show? Ellen points out that on reality TV there is editing to be concerned about and all kinds of things. Who knows what the truth is and “you’re not painted very well,” says Ellen.
Camille doesn’t think her participation on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” is an accurate portrayal of who she really is as a person and, again, states that this whole deal was Kelsey Grammer’s idea. He thought it would be good for her to do something that was separate from them as a couple. Before filming began, Camille knew Adrienne Maloof, had met Lisa Vanderpump before and met Kyle only once – Mauricio is/was Kelsey and Camille’s realtor – they invest in real estate.
Camille states that she and Kyle are actually friends, though their personalities do clash at times.
And, regarding the rumors that she’s quitting the show, she hasn’t decided yet.
She again explains that she found out about Kelsey leaving while she was shooting the show. A mutual friend called her and said she didn’t like what he was doing to her and didn’t like the timing. Camille called Kelsey, waited three hours and when Kelsey called back he said he didn’t want to be married to her any longer.
Camille shared that she knew something was wrong, as he had grown very distant. He used to call her 8-10 times a day and was a very doting husband.
Do they speak anymore? No. Everything, she said, she finds out through the press or Kelsey sends her an email or text. Camille feels that it’s important that they speak. They are raising children together and are co-parents. She hopes that they can be friends and work through this for the sake of the children.
