Pretzel strawberry salad recipe: Strawberry jello with a creamy filling

Although pretzel strawberry salad isn’t a good description of this yummy recipe, it’s the name it was given. A layer of crunchy crust made of crushed pretzels, topped with a creamy layer of cream cheese and Cool Whip, topped with strawberry jello and strawberries. Although it’s not truly a salad, it’s not truly jello either – it’s kind of a dessert. No matter what category it falls within, it is SO delicious. It’s perfect on a holiday buffet, at a picnic, or anywhere. If you don’t already have this recipe, one bite of this amazing dish and you will put it in your permanent recipe file – it’s that good, no kidding!

The following recipe has lots of creamy filling which makes it extra amazing. The strawberry jello contains frozen strawberries, so can be made any time of year. Make sure you buy the strawberries that are frozen in sugar syrup (they usually come in a plastic tub in the freezer section of the grocery store) – then sit back and listen to all the complements that will come your way!
