Pretty! Stills from McKayla Maroney's second turn on 'Hart of Dixie' (Photos)

McKayla Maroney may be eager to get back in the gym after surgery for her broken tibia, but the time off has given her another opportunity: a second episode on CW series Hart of Dixie.

Maroney plays a sassy character named Tonya who isn't afraid to speak her mind. In her first episode, she gave title character Dr. Zoe Hart (played by Rachel Bilson) grief for getting on the case of her best friend, Rose.

Maroney has said that she'd love to pursue more acting gigs when she's finished with gymnastics. Even though fame, an Olympic gold medal and an internet meme that will be remembered in 20 years have already come her way, she insists that she's not done with the sport.

In a recent interview with Gymnastike, Maroney announced she'd been back at All Olympia Gymnastics Center in L.A. beginning to condition and get in shape for a run at the 2013 U.S. Championships in Hartford. Her big goal for the year is the 2013 Worlds in Antwerp, though she knows it might not be possible given the injury and how much she has to rehab.

But if Worlds has to wait, there might be more to come on Hart of Dixie.
