Pretty Paws where dogs are beautified

The littlest of our family, a small maltese poodle, Peanut, had to have a haircut, a bath, and his nails clip.

We were told, by many small dog owners, the best place in Foster City, CA, to take our puppy, Peanut, for a haircut is "Pretty Paws" on Beach Park, near the levee.

We met Samantha, who took our nervous puppy, Peanut, and calmed him down. Peanut was trying to tell everyone, in no certain terms, that he did not need a haircut, a bath, and his nails clip.

Since his adult friends would not listen, he continued to take his point to his four footed friends that were waiting for their haircuts or trims. But everyone was to busy to listen, so Samantha put him in a carrier, which she uses to hold dogs while they are at Pretty Paws. Peanut put his little head down, and his little sad, brown eyes were, so it seems, looking around at what's going on.

While standing and talking to Samantha, I could see tables where she and her employes work on the animals. Along the walls were carriers, small and big, to hold the dogs until their owners came back for them. If there was a well behave dog, she would let it out, and the animal could roam around.

About 3:00 pm, we pick up our little friend, Peanut. When he saw us, he let out a bark, and then look at us with out moving, except for his tail, like saying, "I'm beautiful, right!"
