Spencer, played by Troian Bellisario, has always been the smart, sensible and stable character on "Pretty Little Liars." However, the second half of season 4 has shown her in a different light as she is now struggling with an addiction to ADHD medication. Recently fans found out that she had this problem before and now everyone knows, including her friends, Toby and her parents. On Feb. 24, E!Online revealed whether she will continue her downward spiral or if she will keep her promise to kick the habit on her own.

The report states that Spencer's behavior will only get worse and fans may be in for a shock. Executive producer Oliver Goldstick spoke about Spencer and the summer that Alison disappeared,
"With Spencer, there are big gaping holes in her memory which will serve as incredibly difficult realizations about what she may have done. There are revelations and realizations that she maybe had confrontations or ugly encounters that she may have blotted out and can't remember."
It almost sounds like viewers are going to be in for some shockers. Spoilers revealed during the mid-season break said that Spencer would have a new storyline and the actress was really excited about it. Goldstick added,
"But there are people that are going to remind her, you better believe it! Somebody was taking notes that summer."
Some fans speculated that Spencer was "A" and could they be right? Maybe she has been behind everything but just can't remember? Could she be the person that Ali is so afraid of? And who was taking notes? Ezra, Mona or could it be someone else?
This theory seems shocking but the black and white episode, titled "Shadow Play" showed everyone telling Spencer over and over again that she had all the pieces to the puzzle. That could have been a huge hint.
What do you think? Is it possible that Spencer is "A" and she is the cause of all the turmoil? How bad will her downward spiral go?
