'Pretty Little Liars' star wants 'Vampire Diaries' gig

"The Vampire Diaries" tends to make just about everyone one of its male stars into big names in the pop-culture landscape -- so with that, we more than understand Tyler Blackburn's interest in making an appearance on the show.

Speaking to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, Tyler Blackburn of "Pretty Little Liars" explained that he is more than interested in taking a part of the CW drama if he is ever offered one -- and he is especially hoping to be a vampire. Blackburn may actually have a better chance than most when it comes to this -- after all, his "PLL" co-star Torrey DeVitto is Paul Wesley's wife, and she is currently in the midst of an arc on the show as Dr. Fell.

As for Blackburn's current show, you can see a new promo for Monday's episode to the left -- and it appears as though his character of Caleb is going to be in serious trouble.
