There's no question that Ezra is in a difficult position on "Pretty Little Liars" at the moment -- he's in love with a former student in Aria, but can't be with her due to the anger of her father being in the way. As a matter of fact, Aria's did Byron has recommended Ezra for another job in New Orleans just to see him go away.
Is Ezra going to actually take the job? This is where there will be some problems. Speaking to TVLine, Ian Harding says that his character does see some benefit out of moving -- even though it may hurt the girl he loves in the process:
"Ezra is such a brainiac, and even though he’s absolutely in love with Aria, he really is mulling this over. Even though the offer came out of a bad place — as in it was set up for him not because of his actual abilities but so Byron could get him out of Rosewood — he still wants it because it’s a really good job. It will move his career eight years ahead of schedule. Of course, this puts Aria off a little bit because she thinks it’s a no-brainer to turn it down, but Ezra is a little like, 'Well….' So, problems will arise."
Harding also said that the trouble between Byron and Ezra is still far from over -- and at some point before the end of season 2 next month, some more "words" will be exchanged here.
