"Pretty Little Liars" will not come back to television until summer 2014, but there are already some spoilers for season 5 that should excite fans. On April 10, Latin Times revealed that there will be unusual pairings and Ali could cause problems with a couple. The website also reported that one of the many mysteries on the show will finally be solved.
The upcoming season is going to be interesting because everyone will know that Ali is alive and she will be readjusting to normal life. Fans will also see "A" out in the open, continuing to torment Alison and the girls. Before it was certain that Alison was still living, the girls usually paired in two groups to investigate with Hanna and Emily going one way while Spencer and Aria focused on another lead. In "Pretty Little Liars" season 5, the 100th episode will show the girls switching it up a bit with Spencer and Hanna doing some investigating together.
"PLL" fans can also expect to see Caleb returning to Rosewood. There is speculation that he and Hanna will get back together, but there is a rumor that Alison is going to cause problems between the two. This probably isn't too far off base since "Pretty Little Liars" writer Bryan Holdman recently tweeted,
"Ali and Caleb sittin' in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G..."
Marlene also spoke to the Hollywood Reporter about the series. As fans know, there are several secrets and mysteries. Some of those have been solved while others have not. It turns out that viewers won't have to wait long to find out another shocker. The showrunner teased,
"We're planning that episode right now, and I'm going to write the script. We hope that it's emotionally epic for us. There will be a big reveal: One of our mysteries that we've had for a long time on the show will be revealed in the 100th."
Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson, Shay Mitchell, Troian Bellisario and Sasha Pieterse star in "Pretty Little Liars." ABC will air the season 5 premiere on June 10. As that date nears, more spoilers will be released.
