"Pretty Little Liars" is in its fourth season and fans are still trying to figure out who "A" is. Every time it seems that viewers have it figured out, the writers throw a curve ball. It was thought that Ezra was "A," but showrunner Marlene King said on Twitter that he is not, he is just a "pretty little liar." So who is the person who has been tormenting the girls all this time? On Feb. 19, International Business Times speculated on who could be responsible for everything.

When Ezra told Aria that he started seeing Ali when he was in college. It is being speculated that Ali could have come between him and Jackie, his fiancé at the time. Could she be in it for revenge? Although heartbreaks are painful, it seems too much of a long shot that she would go to such great lengths and for this long, too.
Melissa being "A" is another theory and she has been gone from "PLL" for a while now. Fans remember her as the Queen of Hearts and the Black Swan. She hid a lot of secrets and even said that Wilden was blackmailing her and that she was just trying to protect Spencer. The jury is still out on this theory.
Could Wren be "A?" It is a possibility since he apparently knows about Red Coat, has hit on both Spencer and Hanna and is living with Melissa again. But in season 3, it was revealed that Wren was connected to Mona, Ali and CeCe.
Some feel that Ali's own brother, Jason DiLaurentis could be responsible and there is also the Alison "twin theory."
Other suspects that International Business Times didn't mention were one of the Liars. While it does seem shocking, the writers of "Pretty Little Liars" are good at surprising fans and wouldn't it be the ultimate shock to find out that it was really one of the girls all along? Spencer seems like a good candidate. Not only has she been the lead "investigator" and can throw the attention on someone else, but the repeated statement from others to her in "Shadow Play" must mean something. Toby and others kept saying,
"You have all the pieces of the puzzle."
It was as if she has to know who it is and maybe she does... maybe she is "A." Maybe this is all a game to her or perhaps she has some sort of split personality, which would cause her to not remember "A's" actions. Maybe that is what the black-and-white 40's film dream was telling her.
Another possibility is that "A" is Alison herself. It is well-known that she loved to play mind games and while this is a very long game, it seems possible. Could this just be another one of Ali's games?
Who do you think "A" is and will fans finally find out by the end of "Pretty Little Liars" season 4?
