Now that the girls know that Ali is alive, they want answers. Usually it is Spencer who does the research and finds information, but since Caleb is in Ravenswood, Hanna is the one doing the digging. She finds out that there is a girl named Sara Harvey who has a lot of similarities to Ali and she went missing around the same time as their friend, too. The girl is from Cortland, a nearby town.
According to a sneak peek video, Emily asks Hanna how she chose Sara and she responds,
"Well, I narrowed it down. I mean she is sort of Ali's size. The timing is right and it's not too far away."
Even though Hanna thinks she is on to something, Spencer and Emily don't think she is correct and the Liars end up debating on the possibility that it is Sara Harvey in Ali's grave. However, their discussion is interrupted by "A" when an old black and white movie begins to play in the empty classroom where they are sitting. At the end of the creepy film a chalkboard has a message that reads,
"Ali, Ali, Oxen-free. Whoever finds her gets to keep her. Kisses - A."
