The Liars have had some tough decisions to make before on "Pretty Little Liars," but will season 3 episode 23, "I'm Your Puppet," for which ABC Family released promotional photos on Wednesday, Feb. 20, push them to make the hardest yet?
In this "PLL" episode, which is executive producer Oliver Goldstick's directorial debut, Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) will all be pushed into difficult situations, but whose will be the toughest? As "A" continues to play games with the girls, Aria has to think about her relationship with Ezra (Ian Harding) when his new family situation continues to bother her. Meanwhile, Hanna's going to end up in the middle of Caleb's (Tyler Blackburn) family drama after Jamie's past returns to haunt him. Hanna did see him with that bill, but will things escalate to the point that it makes things worse for Caleb and his father? Meanwhile, Emily is going to be determined to prove Spencer wrong in hopes of helping her, but she may not be ready for what she finds—especially if it proves Spencer right. Finally, Spencer's going to be searching for answers about Mona's (Janel Parrish) time at Radley; does that explain the photos of her in episode 22, "Will the Circle Be Unbroken?" and the photos from episode 23? Will all this leave the girls right where "A" wants them?
