"Pretty Little Liars" star Sasha Pieterse continues her exploration of country music with her brand new single "No." The rock-tinged twangy anthem follows on the heels of three previous single releases this year, "R.P.M.," "I Can't Fix You" and "This Country is Bad Ass."
"Sooo #NO is coming out at midnight...are you gonna get it?!? :) I think you're gonna love it," the actress, who portrays Alison DiLaurentis on the hit ABC Family drama, wrote to her fans on Monday (Dec. 9). The single has (so far) gone on to hit the top of the iTunes singles chart in numerous countries, including Spain and Brazil.
Of course, the blonde powerhouse isn't the only "Pretty Little Liars" actress with a penchant for country music. Fellow star Lucy Hale recently dropped her debut single "You Sound Good To Me," which goes for radio adds Jan. 7, 2014.
"I don't really hate to say I told you so and the answer will always be....no," Pieterse coos on the song's infectious chorus. In addition to starring on one of the hottest young shows of the year, the 17-year-old is also starring in the off-beat "G.B.F." film -- an aloof "Mean Girls" meets "Clueless"-type production. The singer portrays the high school Queen Bee named Fawcett who is in the running for homecoming queen. The film, which centers around the most popular kids in school, also stars Xosha Roquemore (as Caprice) and Andrea Bowen (as 'Shley) as they compete for the affections of Michael J. Willett's character Tanner.
