Designer Veronica Etro presented her eponymous Etro Womenswear Spring/Summer 2014 collection in a runway fashion show for Milan Fashion Week Womenswear Spring/Summer 2014 on September 20, 2013 in Milan, Italy.
Etro Spring/Summer 2014 focuses on pretty floral and paisley prints in a soft pastel color palette, to which are added vibrant hues of bright turquoise, yellow, olive green and tangerine to achieve a little contrast…
Etro teams their colorful artistic print separates with knit tops and layers on fringed scarves. Vibrant multicolored floral prints are combined with contrasting two-color floral prints in combinations such as such as pink and black, blue and black and yellow and black, which from a distance look like leopard.
In addition, several fabrics in this Etro SS 2014 collection feature a patchwork of complementary and contrasting floral prints. This achieves an eclectic mixing of prints and layering on of textures and designs.
Their accessories include pretty fringed scarves, a fine selection of handbags of which several have colorful zigzag colorblocking and feminine criss-cross and metallic sandals.
Veronica Etro herself came out to acknowledge the audience in one of her pretty floral tops, which she teamed with white pants and loafers.
This is definitely a playful collection for those who enjoy casual elegance and embrace the wearing of colorful prints, often mixing different prints to achieve a layering effect.
