The Indiana Repertory Theatre begins it's Going Solo series this weekend withPretty Fire, by Charlayne Woodard. Pretty Fire, a one-woman show, tells five stories about growing up black in America.
This production is limited to a total of nine performance and will run through Feb 28.
Pretty Fire stars Milicent Wright as Charlayne and is directed by Richard J Roberts.
The Going Solo series continues next weekend (Feb 16) with the premiere of The Year of Magical Thinking by Joan Didion.
On Feb 24 begins the third and final one-person plays for the Going Solo series, After Paul McCartney by David Hoppe.
All three plays will run on the IRT Upperstage.
