A Presidents Cup streaker is making headlines after a woman went running across the 18th-hole fairway at Muirfield Village Country Club Sunday during a golf tournament. UPI reports Oct. 7 that as the PGA Tour competition was in session, a female streaker suddenly showed up, stripped down to only a red G-string and waved an American flag as she ran across the fairway.
The Presidents Club streaker also had flag pasties and wore "Support Our Troops" stickers on her front and back. She ran past U.S. Team Captain, Fred Couples, Ernie Els and Steve Stricker -- "whom she cheered for, shouting 'Streaking for Stricker,'" the report said.
The woman was able to evade police for some time after she bolted into the woods. Authorities finally caught up with her and made her cover up.
It's believed that the Presidents Cup streaker will be fined for her actions.
To say the female streaker was a bit of a distraction at the golf tournament is an understatement. She clearly wanted to draw attention to the nation's military troops in such a way that it would be memorable. The unidentified woman definitely accomplished her goal!
