Presidental Pups - Free On Monday At OCAS!

This Monday Orange County Animal Services will be celebrating Presidents Day with the “Presidential Pupsadoption promotion. Select dogs named after Presidents and First Ladies will have their adoption fees waived. This one day promotion aims to bring special attention to some of Animal Services’ favorite patriotic pups looking for their new, forever homes.

“Our recent Valentine’s Day promotion was a phenomenal success. We were able to find homes for 51 of our dogs and cats,” said Dil Luther, Division Manager of Orange County Animal Services. “We’d love to see a big turnout for this promotion as well. We’re hoping to get at least 15 of our shelter dogs adopted.”

The “Presidential Pups” promotion waives dog adoption fees from the usual rate of $55. All dogs selected as a “Presidential Pup” will have been heartworm tested. An American flag sticker will be placed on the kennel cards of dogs that have been selected. There is a limit of one promotional pet per household.

Each adoption includes spay/neuter, initial vaccinations, microchip identification, deworming, rabies vaccination, and an Adoption Welcome Kit.

Orange County Animal Services is located at 2769 Conroy Road in Orlando near the Mall at Millenia. The facility is open for adoptions Monday–Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, please call (407) 254-9140 or visit www.ocnetpets.com.
