The Hunger Games continues its momentum with another viral campaign. Last week, the world of Panem featured seven posters that showed off "real heroes" of the districts. The point of this campaign was to show us just how the Capital is spinning the events of Catching Fire, and establishing just what kind of world fans can expect for the new film: The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1. The viral campaign continues with not a set of posters, but a new video for the upcoming film.
This little teaser is public announcement from President Snow ( Donald Sutherland). The President of Panem assures its citizens that by only trusting the capital can they prevail through these troubled times. The president also points that those who choose not live by the ways of the Capital will be dealt with the most strictest of methods; all while never losing his composure. While the President's address is meant to unite the obedient citizens, also standing by Snow is none other then Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) who is likely being used as the poster-boy for the Capitol. Much like the posters, this viral video continues to set the world of The Hunger Games. The difference between this and the posters is that this video takes thing to a whole new level. One can only imagine what we will see next from the Capital.
After the events of Catching Fire, Katniss Everdeen now leads the 12 Districts into a revolution to thwart the tyrannical Capital. The film stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffery Wright, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Julianne Moore, Michelle Forbes, Natalie Dormer, Stef Dawson, Evan Ross, Gwendoline Christie, Patina Miller, Wes Chatham, Elden Henson and Robert Kneeper.
