President Barack Obama and Queen Maxima of The Netherlands seem to have hit it off pretty well when they met this past week. The photographs, taken on March 24, 2014, show President Barack Obama meeting Queen Maxima of The Netherlands – and, of course, King Williem0Alexander of The Netherlands as well. The greetings took place at the Royal Palace Huis ten Bosch.

The president was in that part of the world to attend the Nuclear Security Summit which was an event that occurred on March 24 and 25 in The Netherlands at The Hague. At the Nuclear Security Summit, world leaders met in an effort to prevent nuclear terrorist across the globe.

First Lady Michelle Obama was in China at the time with the First Daughters – Sasha and Malia – on a trip that has received little media coverage.
