A new ad launched Wednesday features Republicans and Democrats coming together in support of marriage equality.
The ad, released by Respect for Marriage, features clips of prominent Republicans and Democrats expressing support for same-sex marriage in America. President Obama, Dick Cheney, Colin Powell, and Laura Bush are shown expressing their support during the 30-second ad.
The two parties coming together on the issue should not be a surprise given the events of the past year.
