President Obama has been showing Michigan a lot of love lately.
He signed the Farm Bill at Michigan State University February 7, and later chose MSU as his March Madness bracket winner.
Now, he will visit the University of Michigan on April 2, to rally for support in raising the minimum wage to $10.10 per hour. Currently, the federal minimum wage is $7.25 per hour, Michigan's is slightly higher at $7.40.
The speech will be at 2:30 p.m. in the gymnasium of the Intramural Sports Building.
Information on how U-M students can get tickets can be found here.
