President Barack Obama will visit five States over the next three days after giving his State of the Union speech last night. He is scheduled to land at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada at 6:30pm PT tonight, and will spend the night.

The five States President Obama will visit over the next three days are Iowa, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado and Michigan.

Whitehouse Press Secretary Jay Carney speaking to a gaggle of reporters on Air Force One this morning, said that the President "felt good about the speech” last night.

"He's not naive about the kind of resistance that he's faced from Republican members of Congress and the obstructionist approach that many Republicans have taken," Carney said, according to a pool report. "But he is also optimistic that there will be opportunities this year to move important pieces of business through Congress, not because suddenly Republicans will relent out of charity or goodwill, but because they will be under pressure of their constituents to show that they're doing something to grow the economy and create jobs"

"The president is using every tool in his toolbox to try to advance his economic and jobs agenda," Carney said. "That includes working with Congress on things that require legislative action, but it also includes doing everything he can through executive action and that was reflected in the State of the Union address last night."

"He felt very satisfied with the way the speech came together, with the message about laying out a blueprint for an America built to last was well received both in the hall and outside, across the country."

The President will spend the night in Las Vegas and depart sometime tomorrow morning. His itinerary while in Las Vegas is not yet known. In Iowa today the President visited manufacturing plants, as US manufacturing was a key component of last night’s SOTU speech.

Update 6:15pm January 25, 2012:

*President Obama will visit a UPS facility in Las Vegas tomorrow morning that uses 59 Hybrid trucks that run on natural gas, which burns cleaner, and produces fewer emissions. The hybrid trucks look just like any other 18 wheeler truck that you would see on the road. In last nights State of the Union speech, natural gas was one of the focal points for cleaner energy that can be produced here in the United States. UPS curretly has 2000 of the hybrid 18 wheeler trucks across the country.
