Marketwatch reports thatThe United States President, Barack Obama, has admitted that he does in fact own and use an Apple iPad.
He was speaking at town hall in Washington when he admitted that he had an iPad tethered to his BlackBerry.
The report states the anchor Jorge Ramos asked Obama about the iPad:
“Do you have an iPad?” asked Ramos next.
“I do have an iPad,” Obama replied, joking later about also having his own computer.
“I mean, Jorge, I’m the president of the United States,” Obama said. “You think I’ve got to go borrow somebody’s computer?” said Obama to laughter. “Hey, man, can I borrow your computer? How about you? You’ve got one?”
It doesn’t state whether it’s the iPad 2 or the original but you would think the President would have a direct line to Steve Jobs right? Especially after that dinner.
