The FC Kansas City Blues announced their Preseason schedule for the 2014 season on Monday February 3. Training camp for the Blues opens on March 10, and the team will play four exhibition matches before the regular season opens in April.

As the team did in 2013, the Blues return to the collegiate fields playing the exhibition matches at some of the best colleges the Midwest has to offer. The action begins on March 18 in Columbia Missouri against the Tigers. On March 22, the team faces the Kansas University Jayhawks, before going on to face Oklahoma State on April 5. The locations for the KU and Oklahoma games will be announced later.

St. Louis Soccer Park in Fenton, Mo. will host an exhibition match between the Blues and the Chicago Red Stars of the National Women’s Soccer League team. This will be the first time the Blues meet another NWSL team in preseason.

FC Kansas City will announce their NWSL regular season schedule later this month. Durwood Stadium will be the home of the Blues for the 12 regular season home games. Located on the campus of the University of Missouri at Kansas City campus, the stadium is located on the eastern edge of the Plaza Shopping District.

Purchase season tickets for the home matches by calling 855-4KC-Goal or visiting the FC Kansas City website.
