Prescription drugs reportedly cause of Whitney Houston's death

While singer Whitney Houston's official cause of death has not been releaseed, TMZ is reporting she died from a combination of Xanaz and other prescription drugs.

TMZ says, Houston's family was told by L.A. County Coroner officials that she did not die from drowning, but rather from what looks like a combination of Xanax and other prescription drugs mixed with alcohol.

Reportedly Houston's aunt, Mary Jones, discovered Whitney's body in the bathtub. Mary had laid out Whitney's outfit for that night and then left for about 30 minutes. When Houston didn't come out of the bathroom, Jones allegedly went in and pulled Houston out of the tub and began performing CPR.

Houston leaves behind her daughter, Bobbi Kristina, who she had with former husband Bobby Brown. Houston and Brown were married from 1992-2007 and lived in Atlanta. At the time, Brown taped a Bravo reality show in Atlanta called “Being Bobby Brown” which also featured Houston.
