Story time is very important for your Preschooler.
Story time is important for your child as it teaches then how reading is important in their life. The books that they read will also teach them about life lessons and will help them get a head start in their education. Many times, the story teller will tell stories about shapes or numbers to help the preschooler. Sometimes the story will be silly and fun, to get your preschooler into reading.
Milwaukee County offers a story time for preschoolers to help them learn about nature, something that everyone should have some knowledge about. This story time is called “Nature’s Treat. Something Sweet.” Here, your child will learn how that delicious maple syrup is made that they love to put on their pancakes in the morning. They will learn that maple syrup comes from trees and how it is made and stored after that.
The event is located at Havenwoods State Forest, 6141 N Hopkins St, Milwaukee. Story time will start at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 23rd and end at 10:30 a.m. This event is completely free to every preschooler and their parents or grandparents. The benefit of story time is to help preschoolers learn. Along with the story, your children will also get a free demonstration on how the syrup is made.
