President Obama’s Auntie Zeituni is in the news again.
Last year when she went before an immigration judge regarding her 2004 deportation order I predicted that Auntie Zeituni Gets To Stay.
Glenn Beck and I discussed the situation on his show.
She is a poster child of our broken immigration system. Watch this recent interview with her from WBZ in Boston.
Auntie Zeituni Onyango, who was given asylum in May of this year apparently doesn’t appreciate America’s sense of good will, for she seems to have none for America. It is, you understand, America that used her.
Her history;
- Came to America legally in 2000, overstayed her visa.
- Ordered deported in 2004, failed to report for deportation joining hundreds of thousands of “absconders.”
- Deportation case re-heard in April 2009, decision put off for a year.
- Granted asylum in May 2010.
- Appears, shall we say, less than grateful for being allowed to stay in September 2010
Some recent Auntie-quotes;
- “If I come as an immigrant, you have the obligation to make me a citizen.”
- "To me America's dream became America's worst nightmare. I have been treated like public enemy number one."
- “The system took advantage of me.” (She said of the process that gave her, then an illegal alien, public housing.)
Hmm. Well, I don’t quite see it that way, but then that’s just me. Because in addition to living in public housing she is also receiving $700 a month in disability payments from the taxpayer. Some system; some advantage.
Not anti-Auntie
Now, I’m not anti-Auntie. Allowing her to stay was probably the right thing after all the publicity she received because she’s the aunt of the President of the United States. She very possibly could have been a target for kidnapping and ransom in Kenya had she been sent back and nobody wants that. The reality is that allowing this lady to stay isn’t going to matter one way or the other. What does matter is that last night between 5,000 and 10,000 illegal aliens and who knows how much in drugs, entered our country.
And, I don't expect her to go on TV and proclaim, "I am very happy to be here!" But her history and, more importantly, her contempt for the America that has taken care of her for a decade and given her asylum should be noted.
Come to think of it, with all we see and hear today from illegal aliens demonstrating in our streets with hateful signs and slogans, her attitude doesn’t seem to be out of the ordinary, does it.

What a rotten example President Obama was in not asking his illegal auntie to go home.
Kind of shows what type of leader he is. No wonder he sued the state of Arizona for trying to halt crime from Mexico. He is crazy!
Can anyone imagine President Kennedy doing this
with an illegal relative from Ireland?
NO WAY!
JFK was highly respected by the American people.
Americans were saddened by this murder.
THESE ILLEGALS ALL FEEL AMERICA SHOULD HAVE NO LAWS. AND THEY SHOULD BE CATERED TO IN AMERICA ? DONT DARE ASK THEM TO BE LEGAL OR PRODUCTIVE HOW DARE AMERICA? DOES THIS SOUND LIKE WHAT IT IS IN A NUTSHELL? JUST A LEGAL CITIZEN>THANKS>>
She should be deported. Obama has lots of other relatives in Kenya who face no more threats than this woman would should she be deported back to Kenya.
SEND HER BACK
