To prep for tonight’s address it won’t be necessary to “bug out” to your hidey hole with a year’s worth of food and water. Obama has now been the one in charge for four years. He promised hope and change, and was reelected under the other guy doesn’t care. Tonight we will see what Obama really cares for. Highlighting what he considers successes and glossing over failures. Laying out what his plans are during the next four years. Tonight Obama will claim to have made cuts of 2.5 trillion claiming he is half way to the sequester amount of 4 trillion. Notice how he will not mention it is over ten years and from future budgets. Since we haven’t had a budget since he took office it is easy to pull numbers from a hat, since you can’t pull them from his budget.
On the economy, expect to hear this is the best recession ever. That owing 1.2 trillion to China is no big deal. Government bonds are such a good deal our own government has bought 1.6 trillion worth. That Obama is doing a fine job of holding down unemployment to 7.9% even if it means removing eight million from the workforce to keep it there. What does it matter if less people are working today than in 1980, our number is below 8%?
We should get to hear about the wonderful free Obamacare. Well free, unless you have a job then it is $20,000 for an average family. It will free your employer from having to cover your family, even if they are younger than 26.
Expect to hear how investing (spending tax dollars)in green companies, unions and roads worked so well we must do more or the middle class will not be able to feed their children. To the surprise of working Americans Obama will tell us how he cut taxes for 98% of us. We should also hear that now is the time for compromise, you pay taxes and we spend.
Tonight also make sure to look for who the Obama’s invite as props for the speech. See if you can spot the illegal alien who is taking the seat Americans don’t want, next to Michelle.
