Get There reports Metro won't be open for tomorrow's soccer game at RFK Stadium (h/t to DCist):
Because of the cost to us taxpayers, Metro stays open late only if a government or private sponsor steps in to cover the expenses, and that hasn't happened for the Wednesday soccer games.
The Grenada vs. Haiti game will begin at 7 p.m., and the USA vs. Honduras will begin at 9 p.m. Fans in overtime or the second game may be without a train. Prepare for alternative ways home (bike, bus, carpool, etc.) or use a non-Metro method to get to the game. (Or leave early, if you can bear it, that's what music fans often have to do.)
Stadium-Armory Station on the Blue and Orange lines is the closest station to RFK Stadium. The last trains for Franconia-Springfield and Vienna stations are scheduled for 11:50 p.m. Largo Town Center is 12:20 a.m. and New Carrollton is 12:21 a.m.
