Prep and Landing: Naughty vs. Nice - Coming December 5th to ABC

If your house is like my house – your children may have “Elf Fever”.  Between the “Elf on the Shelf” and Disney’s “Prep and Landing” our children are obsessed with the tiny helpers that help Santa make Christmas, “Ho, ho, go!”

The “Elf on the Shelf” DVD and special has hit the TV thanks to CBS and now ABC will have a new special, “Prep and Landing: Naughty vs. Nice” airing at 8:30 p. m. on December 5, 2011.

If you have the newly released original “Prep and Landing”, you may be familiar with the trailer for the latest addition to the successful franchise.  Prep and Landing first aired in 2009 and has become a new Holiday staple since making its debut. The short film introduces viewers to a seasoned veteran elf lusting after a promotion, Wayne, who is passed over by his protégé and then partnered with a Prep & Landing Division rookie, Lanny.

The odd couple hits some bumps in their mission to prep the landing site for Santa at Timmy’s house but, as in all happy endings, they save the day and bring Timmy Christmas.  There are plenty of jokes for all ages.

The original special was followed by two shorts, “Tiny’s Big Adventure” and “Operation Secret Santa”.  Both shorts also appear on the new DVD.

The new installment, "Prep and Landing: Naughty vs. Nice",  is full length (half hour) and Lanny and Wayne are back to save Christmas once again. The new plot explores what happens when Santa/Elf technology falls into the wrong hands. The wrong hands, is of course a kid on the Naughty List!  Lanny and Wayne must outsmart the kid and recover the lost materials. Christmas is fast approaching and time is of the essence.

Wayne recruits a jovial member of the Coal Bucket Brigade for assistance. Noel, the new coal elf recruit, also happens to be Wayne's brother. The kid they must recover the Santa/Elf technology from is a computer genius, and the mission is not that easy.

The new episode will air on December 5, 2011 at 8:30 p.m.  The episode will air again on December 22nd!

I know my kids will be watching with their Prep and Landing goggles and Christmas tree landing sticks and sound effects book!
