Bradbery won "The Voice" earlier this year as a member of coach Blake Shelton's team. She had a quick turn around with debut single "The Heart of Dixie," which dropped in July and has so far peaked at no. 58 on Billboard's Hot 100. On the plucky ballad, she tells the story of a wife who finds the strength to leave her no-good husband.
In the music video for "The Heart of Dixie," Bradbery can be seen singing the empowering tune in the rustic fields of a quiet inn. She has some good clean and old-fashioned fun as the "Dixie" character leaves home. Bradbery tells the story of "Dixie," but unbeknownst to her, she later cross paths with the woman. It's a fairly simplistic clip that does a great job of showing off Danielle's storyteller side.
Bradbery's debut album on Big Machine records is due for release later this year. Season 5 of "The Voice" coincidentally premieres on NBC tonight at 8 p.m.
