One Direction serves up more rustic style in 'You & I' music video

"You & I" is the latest single from One Direction's album Midnight Memories. On the acoustic ballad, the guys of 1D let their ladies know that the love they share is unbreakable. "Nothing can come between you and I/Not even the gods above could separate the two of us," Harry Styles sings. The track is certainly one of the more tender moments of the group's newest album.

Frequent One Direction collaborator Ben Winston shot the music video for "You & I." In the clip, the guys cross a bridge in a continuous shot and transform into each other. Harry Styles sings the chorus and turns into Zayn Malik, when Malik's verse comes up he then transforms into Louis Tomlinson, and so forth. With each video from Midnight Memories, One Direction seems to be getting older. It must be the rustic style they have adopted since the "Story of My Life" clip that has them looking less like boys, and more like men. The group later appears on the bridge together in "You & I" and they engage in some on-screen shenanigans. "You & I" is a pretty minimalistic video but it's also an intimate one in which Winston does his best to make it feel as though it's only you and the boys of One Direction.

"You & I" is now available on One Direction's album Midnight Memories. A special EP of the single will be released next month in the U.K. featuring the Big Payno remix done by 1D's own Liam Payne. Midnight Memories debuted atop Billboard's albums chart late last year, becoming the band's third straight album to do so.
